“Do you want shooting? Girls? Marijuana?” - this is the first offer from the motorbike taxi driver in Phnom Penh. Sorry, if I have offended someone. Probably this country has become an escapade to many tourists for above sake. The Sisowath Quay has plenty of restaurants and bars established. In the breezy evenings, folks are strolling on the river bank chatting their daily life, intimate lovers whispering and bursting out laughing occasionally, kid-vendors carrying baskets to sell their handful merchandise, some youngsters approached foreigners practising English, a few elderly beggars pleading for financial help… that’s life. The Palace, Museum and Temples are OK, but the Killing Field – Choeung Ek and the Tuol Sleng triggered my interest. Strongly irritated to see the exhibited photos (real records / evidence of people tortured in this notorious prison).
