The Meherangarh or the Majestic Fort construction is impressive, it is beautiful but not the best I have seen, worth for a visit somehow. It stands proudly on top of the hill in the middle of the city. It was a nice walk navigating through the narrow streets inside the residential area. From the fort, it grants a good view over the blue houses, which suggests the name "Blue City". The colour is comfortable and emits a sense of peace. Most houses are built in block shape with flat roof, similar heights. It presents an unique geometrical picture. The Jaswant Thada, a memorial to Maharaja, is just approx 1km from the Fort.
