The Sri Meenakshi Temple is beautiful. The richly decorated high entrance towers with sculptures are the typical temple structure in Tamil Nadu. Probably this is the most interesting Indian temple I have seen, but non Hindu is not permitted to enter the core part of the temple. Probably I have seen too many temples recently or physically tired, I'm not very excited about it. The "1000 Pillar Temple" has lots of pillars, was over designed, maybe. The Tirumalai Nayak Palace is a building with impressive high ceiling, but small.
